My boy had his today so Iāll keep you updated. Just kept him topped up with calpol š¤š»
My LO had his last week, if I touched his leg he would cry but besides thatā he was completely fineāŗļøxx
We had ours yesterday. He's been his usual self in the day so far but both last night and tonight he's taken 2 hours to fall asleep. Usually he's asleep within 15 to 30 minutes as he doesn't nap much. Hasnt slept more than usual in the day but I think he's feeling sore when falling asleep as he kept nearly going then crying. He has to be held to sleep so I kept trying to avoid his arms and legs but he also is a wriggler so was hard! Hoping the achy and sore jab spots ease off in a couple days and bedtime returns to normal or even up to an hour. 2 is a lot and he's heavy now to hold for such a time!
My 3 boys just had a little bit of sore and stiff legs for a couple days otherwise they didnāt really take much notice when they were getting them done let alone after. They just went on as normal only really made a fuss when we touched the area. Just kept topped up with calpol
My son was very miserable the evening of his jabs but absolutely fine the next day! X
We had ours last Thursday and she was fine immediately after, so far no fever no pain just happy baby š¶ā¤ļø
I split my daughters up as I was so shocked they planned to give her four injections at one appointment. We had men b and pneumococcal. She spiked a slight temp and had sore legs. Iām sure the MMR can give them a rash afterwards.
A temperature after 10-14 days seems to be quite common. It might be coincidental but we had this too. No other issues really. She cried more taking the plasters off than the jabs themselves
My little one was fine, no temp and didnāt seem to have pain. Weāre 6 days in now, we were told she could have a temp around 7-10 days so to keep an eye out for that
Fine the days after but day 6 til 10 day he had a really high temperature and was miserable.
We spiked a temp about 24-48 hours after. But then also has croup now (6 days later symptoms) so wonder if it was the start of that virus or the combination
We spiked a temp for 2 nights after the injection then spiked again for 2 nights exactly 2 weeks after which is aparantly when the MMR part kicks in. He had very sore legs and they kept giving way when he tried to walk the next day but only lasted that day x
So far no major problems. I was careful to avoid prodding injection sites as I expected them to be sore, but it's hard to avoid completely! She had some spots on her tongue for 2 days with no other symptoms which I'm reasonably sure is a sign the mmr is working. No fevers so far although I gave calpol day of injection. We're only 1 week post vaccine though, and they can take up to 3 weeks to get unwell after mmr.
My little boy had his 31st March. He was fine for about 5hrs after, his usual self. Around 6-7hrs after he started to get poorly, had a high temperature so was giving paracetamol. The temp lasted for about 36hrs, he was back to himself after some good rest though x

My one couldnāt move her legs for two days and cried when we were changing her nappy. I had to lie her down most of the day and just let her watch TV. It was traumatic and I wish someone prepared me BUT I havenāt heard this happening to anyone else! Only sharing so that you are prepared but I think we were unlucky. They are clingier than usual though so prepare for lots of cuddles xxx
