Family car with space for pushchair and iso fix car seat ideas

Hey guys

I’m on the hunt for a new car. Before having my little girl I didn’t realise how much space I would need in the boot😩

I currently have a Kia Rio and while I absolutely love my car it’s not viable with a child as I don’t have space for the pushchair.

I can’t afford anything top of the range so needs to be a family friendly, budget car.

What cars has everyone got? What do you recommend?

We have a VW tiguan and it’s great.

Fits 2 isofix bases and seats in the back with space for someone in the middle.

Boot fits a pushchair, 2 suitcases, buggy board, icebox and bags (this weekends fit) or 1 bassinet pram and all the groceries.

Tons of room in all the footwells too.

Also has a great EURONCAP safety rating and there’s tons of decent 2nd hand models!

Hey, I have a Volkswagen Touran, it’s a seven seater so two seats in the boot but if you put them down you have a nice spacious boot. I have 3 car seats which easily all fit next to each other in the back and have iso fix. Xx

I have a Hyundai Santa Fe. I have 3 kids and it fits all 3 of them in the back seat with plenty of boot space or if I don’t need the space I can have an extra 4 passengers lol

I have a ford kuga, our icandy peach 3 base doesn't even have to be folded to fit in the boot! Two isofix in the back x

My partner just got a Ford Puma, nice and spacious! I currently have a Toyota Aygo and I have to put down one back seat to fit the pushchair 🙈🙈 I'll have to get a new car before having a second child 😅

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Help! My baby is 3 and a half weeks old. Every bath she goes in quite happy but will only stay like this for a very few mins, if I try to clean her or move her we have tears and after a few mins the same. It's like she is scared. Our current baby bath is quite big should I try a different one? Looking for any suggestions as want her to enjoy bath time not be upset and I'm scared I'm going to make her hate it😢💗

Crying during feeding

Hey mams! My girl is 6 weeks on Monday and is having so much trouble with feeding. It doesn’t happen every feed but more often than not she will start a bottle and just start crying as if she’s in pain and she can’t take the milk. I think it’s trapped wind but I genuinely don’t know what to do it’s so pitiful to see her not be able to feed! She’s formula fed and on HiPP Organic.
Anyone else been in this position? I’m pretty sure it’s just a bit of trapped wind that she needs to fart out but can’t! If anyone has any advice I’d be very grateful as I think I may need to tape my eyelids open soon 😂
