My LO is 4 months old now, and suddenly decided she will no longer transfer at all. Sill cry and wake up the moment I try to put her in her bassinet, or within the next 3 minutes. She used to settle herself back to sleep, but not anymore. She only sleeps if she’s on me.
My husband is an incredibly deep sleep who rolls a lot, so co sleeping isn’t an option.
I know this is probably a regression or teething, but I’m currently on hour 2.5 of trying to get her back down to sleeping her bassinet. I just can’t keep doing this every night

Have you tried cribside comforting? It’s where you don’t pick them up but still respond to their crying. It’s worked well for us,I lay her down and then pat/rub her belly, shush, rub her nose and other soothing things until she falls asleep. If she’s big time mad I’ll pick her up until she’s calmed down enough to lay back down.
I haven’t. I’ll give that a try tonight. Hopefully it works! 🤞🏼

Keeping my fingers crossed for you 🤞 you got this!

I was JUST on Reddit researching this very topic haha! my LO is currently going thru the same thing, I read that it’s because their vestibular system is likely mature enough to stimuli (transfer). Someone suggested waiting 20 minutes so that they’re in deep sleep then do the transfer. I can’t say I have had much success in doing this, maybe 1/5 times… so we contact nap when possible and I hold her while in my rocking chair. Try waiting 20 mins and see if that helps? Good luck mama!
