Nub theory

I have just had my 12 week scan! And I asked chat GPT about whether it’s a girl or boy based on nub theory(don’t ask me why!!) does anyone have any situations where the nub theory has proved to be a load of rubbish?

Haha lol I did this the other day out of pure curiosity and it said girl based on nub and skull. I then sent my sons 12 week scan to see if it guessed boy correctly and it did!! From my understanding nub theory is around 80% accurate at the 12 week mark and over 90% accurate from 13 weeks 😊

Ahh ok. So it is pretty correct then! Kinda wish I didn’t do it now 😂😂

It still could be wrong! It’s definitely not definitive x

12 weeks is still early, even if it was presenting as a girl it could still rise to be a boy. However, if it says boy I’m not sure 🙈. I asked chat GPT with two different images of the same scan photos and it said girl and then boy so I would take it with a pinch of salt. It’s a 50/50 guess at the end of the day.

I actually sent my 12 week scan for my first off and paid for it to be analysed (pre chat gpt days) - it came back 85% certainty a girl.. so did the scull. Well my little boy is 3 haha! Definitely not accurate for me!
