How are we putting our babies who go down to sleep “drowsy” in the cot when it’s on the lowest setting when short. I literally am having to stand on my tip toes and I’m bruising my ribs learning on the cot for support. Is there some sort of step people use? I have a folding step but that makes me to tall! I can’t be the only short person who struggles with this!

Curious does your cot not have a drop down rail? As my middle son his cot does....
However my daughters doesn't for reference im 5ft 4 , So i jusy tip.toe of she does fall asleep etcb, Although she is a better sleeper than my son , so she self settles most of the time.......
My son on the other hand has no off button 🤣🤣🤦🏻♀️
@Elle no, most cots arnt made with rails that drop now for safety reasons.

We swapped to a floor bed but we’ve never done drowsy just fully asleep and that was a game changer for us! No more leaning x

i crawl into the cot with him and peel myself away when he’s fully asleep

Ohhh really that's so bizarre I wonder when that changed as my cot for my son he's only 3yrs old.... we got it from mammas and pappas, how strange.

I had a bed from Argos it was like a travel bed it was excellent upto about 19months as it had a higher setting that I could reach the baby at night. I'm not that tall either and bending and picking up and putting down baby is a struggle 😭
