Pregnancy after ectopic

Just found out I’m pregnant again after my last pregnancy being ectopic, and just really don’t know how to feel. Obviously it’s what I wanted, so I want to be excited, but I can’t let myself be excited because what if it’s ectopic again? I feel like I have to be worried. Only 4 weeks at the moment so will have to wait a couple weeks for a scan and just feel like it’s going to be the most dreadful couple of weeks of over thinking everything and waiting for something to go wrong😩 How has everyone else got through this? Thank you 🤍

Congrats on your pregnancy, try to book you EPU appointment ASAP

Firstly congratulations, how you are feeling is completely normal, I had two ectopics within 3 months of each other . Then fell pregnant quite quickly after the second one and I was so nervous all the way through the pregnancy until I held baby in my arms . You should be able to have a scan at 5 weeks with epu to check baby us in the right place x

First and foremost congratulations 🥳 EPU will book you in for an appointment to see what location baby is in. That’s what they did with me when l got pregnant with our rainbow baby after an ectopic pregnancy, after you’ve notified them you are pregnant.

Asked heal baby care app and sharing in case it helps: "First, I want to acknowledge how challenging and emotional this time must be for you, especially after experiencing an ectopic pregnancy. It's completely normal to feel a mix of excitement and anxiety; many people in similar situations have felt the same way. One helpful approach is to focus on self-care during this waiting period-try to engage in activities that bring you comfort and joy, whether that's reading, spending time with loved ones, or practicing mindfulness. Additionally, consider journaling your feelings; it can be a great way to process your emotions and track your thoughts. Remember, you're not alone in this, and it's okay to seek support from friends, family, or online communities who understand your experience. What specific concerns or thoughts are weighing on you the most right now?"
