Nexplanon

Omg! I felt like an emotional wreck at the beginning! There were so many times I almost got it taken out. It’s hard to even recall because it was so long ago and those mood swings have stoped. I’ve had mine for 5 years now. I just remember feeling like I was on my period 24/7 for about the first 3 months after getting it. No pain, just the crazy mood swings. I’m sorry if I’m scaring you I’m just being honest. But like I said it’s hard to even recall because I don’t feel like that any more and it’s been long time since I felt the way I did at the beginning. Also it’s important that I say I’ve struggled with anxiety, depression, general mood disorders so I’m sure that has a big part in why the nexplanon affected me the way it did at first. Also I was only a few weeks postpartum so hormones were all wacked already. Hope this helps 😬😅🩷

Not me but a friend said she had constant spotting for 6 months till she gave up and had it removed. Hope it goes well for you!

This was 6 years ago now, I had an insanely bad month long period, it was heavy and had me doubled over in pain, OB said it was normal so I waited it out. once it ended I didn't have a period for a year, then I had another period that was the same and I had them take it out.
