Colostrum
Is anyone else leaking colostrum like bad?? I started lightly expressing when I was starting to have wet spots on my shirt about a month ago. I have 27 mls so far. Again, I very lightly express when I'm leaking a lot. I'm never expressing more than a couple of minutes at a time. It even sprays out sometimes cause there is so much. I feel like I'm producing to much to soon. What's happening? Is it a good thing or...

@Sierra yes ma'am i am 28 weeks. It wasn't this much with my first, so it was a little concerning tbh!

@Rachelle I have a kit ready but I'm not doing any stimulation until 36 weeks for safety.
@V I'm not pumping. I just put light pressure close to my areola, and it comes out. If I lay on my side, it will soak a spot on my shirt.

@Lia i know i was panicking. i talked to my doctor today, and he said it's not common, but it does happen sometimes.

Assuming you're in the final stretch now like all the ladies here, 27-31 weeks, then that's probably a mix of your ducts having been stimulated for a while and birth is in just a few weeks! I'm not a doctor but I'd say you're good! I'm almost 29 weeks right now and mine are leaking a good bit more. Mine have also been stimulated for a while though too. I leaked a lot with my first born as well, and then after he was born, the next day, it's like someone opened the flood gates and I was drenching my gowns with milk. Freaked me out as a first time mom lol
