Which cities/states will you be traveling to? What will your activities be? How long will you be traveling for? What is the need to bring food with you?

How old is your little one?

My little will be 10 months by the time we leave, and we’ll be going to Florida 2 weeks and New York 5 days

@Shannon I was hoping to take some food punches with me from the uk. I haven’t figured out a clear itinerary for the trip yet. I’ll be working on that tomorrow

Okay! In NYC you’ll have trader joes which does amazing healthy snack food like Ella’s Kitchen quality. There’s a few around manhattan! Florida; pram fan, mosquito stickers for the pram and cot, publix for shopping, cool bag for keeping drinks and food cool in the car.

I flew with my then 8month old last month for the first time. He did amazing. This is what I did. For the flight have a bottle for the take off and landing to help with the ear pressure. Have those snack crackers or puffs for them to eat especially if teething. Also some toys to keep him distracted. My guy loved these spinning toys that stick to the screen. If eating solids, I would get them here. You can always order or shop for it. Same with diapers. Make sure you have a change of clothes at easy reach. My kid had an explosion as soon as we got to the seat and after changing him it was time for take off and I couldn’t get his change clothes from overhead.

Honestly… I recommend cancelling your holiday. I’m in Canada and even we are being advised not to travel there due to possible detainment. It’s been happening to Canadian and European tourists as of late

I think that is a relatively good time to visit both states. I would keep an eye on weather updates 10 days out and leading up to your trip. I agree- Trader Joe’s is one of my favorite grocers. We have an app called InstaCart that I recommend you download. You can have groceries delivered to where you are staying to make it easier on you. Two brands of pouches I like that you should be able to find in both NY and FL are HappyTot and Once Upon A Farm (Target). A checklist might be helpful for you as well- I dropped a link below to one that I found. https://www.babycenter.com/family/travel/baby-travel-packing-list_41001758

Ohhh just googled it and Trader Joes is in Florida too which makes it easy. We travel a lot on the road in the US and I’ve found their snacks and pouches the best for the kids. Plus the fresh food if your accommodation has a fridge, it’s also pretty cheap in line with Aldi/Tesco here. Sunscreen for the kids: child’s farm is good for little ones and ultra sun. A parasol is a good idea for the pram in Floridian sun, nice and light and doesn’t heat the pram up like a snooze shade does. Walmarts nappy brand is pretty good but pampers/huggies are expensive in the US compared to home. Formula is the same so I always take my own and it just means I have space in the suitcase on the way home for shopping ☺️

@Sarah Agreed- they are pretty reasonably priced and have the best snacks- for adults too! ☺️

this is AMAZING advice, thanks so much ladies 🥰🥰🥰

Plus if you to Disney World, there’s a baby centre at the top of Main Street that gives you free nappies, wipes and formula xx
