Has anyone else struggled with anxiety during pregnancy, I am nearly 20 weeks pregnant and I am so so scared that baby might be poorly or even hungry etc. I am still struggling with nausea etc too :(

Yes!!! I suffered badly with anxiety in my first pregnancy. You feel a bit better once they start moving more frequently. I’m calmer this time around as I’ve done it before I feel more confident in my body. It’s really hard though I do get it, could you maybe look for counselling or even just reading articles regarding anxiety in pregnancy? It’s normal to feel a bit of anxiety but if it takes over please seek help xx

I am scared everyday! Is everything ok? Etc, luckily my husband is good at reassuring me but it's a daily struggle.

Ooh yes I’m the same with this pregnancy. Didn’t have much anxiety at all in first pregnancy and this one I really do. For me I wonder if it’s because I don’t have as much “down time” to spend thinking about things, sorting things, doting on the “bump”. When this time round with a toddler, there’s no time for any of that. If you speak to your midwife if it’s really bad, she should refer you to the perinatal team at your hospital. This might help? Xxx

Yes! I’m so glad I’m not alone my first pregnancy I was absolutely fine this time round, just so nervous everyday that something’s wrong it’s a horrible feeling and some days just can’t shake it xx
