IVF medication quotes in the UK

My clinic used stork, I think you can also try Asda and fertility 2u x

Asda are cheapest! Just saved us £235 on our ongoing meds for the next 4 weeks post positive xx

Asda! It’s not for profit so you won’t find cheaper.
They also split boxes so if you only needed 4 pills from a box of 30 they will unit charge you for the 4

I use fertility medication centre. They are online and will provide a quote (much cheaper than my clinic) and they then use stork to deliver it to your house.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. For those who suggested Asda, do I go into store to get a quote? My clinic charge £100 to issue an external prescription so I’ll need to enquire with the other companies first to check they will work out cheaper! They don’t make it easy do they (!)

We used stork when asda didnt have anything in in time for the treatment but then we just put the private prescriptions for medication for treatment to our normal pharmacy (shadforth). It was still quite cheap only a few pounds more expensive than asda x

£100!! I was annoyed at £25! You can ask for a list of drugs for a quote - they just won’t issue them without a formal private prescription. Depends how badly you need to penny pinch but for stress levels I would just place one bulk order with Asda and drive and collect. Job done! We were at one of the best clinics in London and by going via Asda we saved about £2000 on one ivf round of drugs. You could shop around maybe £100+ if you can be bothered!

In my experience, Asda are the cheapest. You can get a list of meds from your clinic and call the nearest Asda pharmacy to ask about prices and lead times. Once you have the prescription take that in to place the order. I found Stork to be super expensive! For instance Lubion one pack that has 7 vials was costing about £120 via Stork if I rem correctly, a pharmacist friend was getting it for £90 and Asda got it for me for £56!!!
