Placenta Taking Over…

Has anyone else experienced placenta taking over around 9 weeks and waking up with no symptoms or should I be worried about a MC

I’m 10 weeks 2 days and my symptoms have definitely subsided since I turned 9 weeks like they’ve eased off from reading stuff and seeing others I’ve come to realise it can be normal x

Any worries though always contact your epu or midwife x

I’m worried about the same. I’d say mine were easing off around 8/9 weeks and have stayed like that. I’ve gone from struggling to survive the day feeling so awful to having the odd wave of nausea once or twice a day but otherwise I feel a lot better. My boobs are still sore and I’m still exhausted I’m 10 weeks 1 day. I’d say these changes happened end of week 8 early week 9. I’m anxious too as I had a loss around this time last pregnancy. But my gut is telling me it’s okay it doesn’t feel like before. Last time I literally stoped feel pregnant this time I still feel bloated and yuk just not feeling sick anymore and everyone says it can be up and down and everyone is so different it doesn’t help give much reassurance does it: I wish we could just know what’s going on in there!

I’d say yes ask the midwife but they just say it can be normal and wait for a scan! As I asked a bit with my appointment as I knew I’d be anxious around this time 🙄 doesn’t help the freak out! Nobody knows so nobody will give you an answer because they just don’t know. For half it be fine half it won’t. It’s luck at this point is how I feel and it makes me anxious and fear the worse. When I have nothing to base that on except worse case experiences. So try not to panic as we all panicking we all feel the same I guess it’s normal, just so stressful c

I know, the internet I absolutely so 50/50 about everything. Thank you girls. And I hope everything is okay with you both ♥️ xx

I have been experiencing less nausea and feeling next to no symptoms this past week or so, I didn’t know that the placenta taking over could be the cause, you learn something new every day 😂 it makes a lot of sense now ❤️

Let’s hope it stays that way, because I don’t know about you, but I thought I was going to DIE. 😂♥️

My nausea disappeared at around 8/9 weeks, now just feeling tired and exhausted but pretty good otherwise 😊 I was a bit worried about the sudden change but my midwife said it's normal

Did your boobs stop hurting to by any chance or the soreness dramatically decrease? I have a scan Thursday to make sure everything’s ok xx

@Sinead yeah mine haven’t really hurt since I was 8 weeks tbh and I had a scan at 8+5 and I’ve got another one this Thursday too! Xxxx
