Cribs & beds

Next to me crib

Is my baby growing out of her next to me? She’s 4.5 months old and I’m not ready to put her in her own room yet (I know should wait until 6 months anyway) but is she still okay in this crib?

Common illness

I’m so angry…

My other half’s mum and step mum both came round at the weekend, one had a cough and the other had a runny nose. Neither told me until they were here and had already held my little girl!! My little one today is now coughing and a blocked nose… her first cold and she’s nearly 5 months. We’ve done so well this far getting through winter and I’m just so furious they came round for their own selfish reasons to see bubs without thinking of the consequences πŸ˜”

My other half is so nonchalant about it and I understand she’s gonna get colds eventually, but it’s one thing catching it by accident and then literally putting her in harms way.

Now I have a poorly bubba thanks to them being so inconsiderate.

I’m so anxious with her being unwell and the night looming ahead, I’m scared to put her to bed but am just keeping her topped up on calpol.

I just wanted to vent 😩 Any advice or support to know I’m not being silly at being so angry about thisπŸ˜”

Teething?

I think my lo is teething she had been so upset the past two days. She seems fine in the morning but when the afternoon comes she starts to cry in pain and is shoving her fists into her mouth, it also seems as though the pain comes and go throughout the rest of the day. I've looked in her mouth but can't see or feel anything coming through yet, I'm unsure if I should take her to the GP as she's usually quite a happy girl, just looking for some advice on what to do or tips and tricks for teething to help soothe her pain

Baby sleep

Fussy baby ?

My lo has had such an off day! He’s been way crankier and fussier than usual. We’ve been going through the regression and terrible sleep for over 6 weeks, so I am not sure what is happening. Tonight before bed he was crying nonstop and I put him to bed 25 mins before the end of his normal wake window. The other wake windows were also all slightly shorter bc of his fussiness today. Has anyone else experienced this?

Baby sleep

I am struggling with lack of sleep with the regression.

I feel bad as I am not interacting with bubs in the day as much as I used to, as I am too tired. I am not looking for advice, just someone to relate to.
