Has anyone had any success with stopping the feed to sleep association? My wee boy is waking every 2 hours at least at the moment (and has done for months at this point). Please give any tips if you have managed!

No success but in the same boat š

Following! We've always fed to sleep even after dinner, so I really need tips

I find it to move away from feeding to sleep as they then use something else to get to sleep (rocking, walking etc). With my first I stopped feeding to sleep around 15/16 months old as he had been in nursery a while so was used to different methods, and I coukd explain to him that 'we just cuddle to sleep now' and he handled it better xx

In the same boat!

I have literally just had a bit of a breakthrough with this HOWEVER I am still rocking her. This is working for us as it means that her dad can now put her to bed too. I start her bedtime feed a little earlier than usual and pull her off when her eating becomes less intentional and more just suckling for comfort then I stand up and sway with her(or pass her to her dad). I will eventually do some cot training when she is closer to one.
Hey mummies and daddies, has anybody got experience with baby not getting used to nursery? My daughter started at 12 months (a month ago) and still has a meltdown every time we drop her off. How long until it settles? I worry that sheās just not happy there :(

Gave birth 3 days ago, very traumatic. Lost a lot of blood, didnāt get induced as planned.
Girl is very sensitive to startle reflux, we have had 1.24 hours sleep last night as she wonāt settle in her next to me crib.
We have tried swaddling which didnāt work and a grow bag. She is doing it every 30 seconds and scares herself. Bottled fed as BF for the first 2 days after birth but I cannot continue. Does anyone have any solutions?

Hate to be this person as I see so many babies/mamas on here being affected by this sleep regression but my baby is 20 weeks on Thursday and so far, we havenāt really struggled with nighttime sleep, she sleeps through and has done since 10 weeks. We are only really struggling with daytime naps (being super short). Has the nighttime sleep regression been delayed for any one else? Or have I just got really lucky?

Has anybody else not only had postnatal depression, but thought they would get it even before giving birth?
Iām 36 weeks pregnant at the moment and with this pregnancy and my first one Iāve had a lot of mental instability Iāve had anxiety attacks, panic attacks, feelings that I donāt deserve to have a baby after we had a termination five years ago, I have intrusive thoughts, nightmares at night about hurting the baby, dropping the baby and comments from my partner that he doesnāt want the baby that I forced him into having our second.
I just feel like because he hasnāt been interested in this pregnancy heās done literally nothing to help me and we do have a bit of a rocky relationship. I already feel so overwhelmed and ignored and stressed and depressed and Iām just getting into my head now that I wonāt be able to connect with this new baby all this experience it just made me think it was a mistake and we havenāt done the right thing. I want this baby more than anything a little boy after weāve had a girl I just feel myself spiralling into this hole and yeah, Iāve got good support around me and Iāve got friends and family that live close but I just feel like this baby is gonna arrive and Iām just gonna feel so down and disconnected and I wonāt be able to be a good mum I feel like Iāve just checked out mentally at the moment. And I feel really guilty knowing this baby will be here in a few weeks.

Not sure whether anyoneās in the same boat, but Iām on about week 5 of sleep regression! LO is 4.5 months, his daytime naps are mostly ok, heās sleeping from around 7:30/8pm until midnight/1am ish, then from 2ish heās up every hour? Not seeking feeds just cuddling and rocking back to sleep.
He woke up at 5am for an hour and a half this morning, then slept 6:30-7:30, now seems to want a nap again? I follow his cues and he sleeps/ naps on demand. We have a bedtime routine of bath, story and feed.
Heās exclusively breastfed and weāre co sleeping for now to get through this rough patch (he is completely rejecting his NTM crib).
I know that they struggle to tie their sleep cycles together esp early hours of the morning, so it makes sense as to why this is happening but I guess Iām just looking for some advice (I mention it to family but just get the typical ātry formula and putting him in his crib, try a higher tog sleeping bag he might be coldā. ) We have tried one bottle of formula before, it didnāt work and tbh I donāt want to give him formula yet!
Thankyou!!
