Playdates in Leeds

Hi all.

I had a really nice Saturday having a playdate with a mum I spoke briefly too whilst at childminders before and a new mum first time meeting. We had a picnic and a nice chat whilst the kids played a bit with summer outdoor toys and playground.

Would anyone else be happy to join on 3rd May for hopefully a repeat at (weather permitting) Middleton Park near the playground.

The idea (for me anyway) is a more relaxed setting and a group conversation where some chat and if you want to listen that's cool too. No pressure to keep a conversation going 1-1. And also no pressure to attend if you're not up for it as its a group.

I'm a socialable introvert, and my son through lack of life skills is a reserved introvert and if 1-1 would possibly keep asking to leave. So a mix of familiar faces and new faces is likely to provide more ease and comfort. New faces can quickly turn into friendships after meeting 3 or 4 times and definitely after playing together.

I do have a group on here - Leeds Playdates. As a way for any mum to suggest a date time and place and whoever can come can come.
