How much bigger did breasts get after birth? Nursing Bra question
All the nursing bras I’ve bought during pregnancy have been too small. Or the cups fit just right for now but no room to grow. I bought Kindred Braverly Regular Large and it was too tight. I reached out to them w my measurements at 32 weeks and told them I was 36C before pregnancy. They said I’m
and 38D which is XL and to size up to Busty XL for more room in the cups. My boons aren’t really big like D’s I just have a wide chest cavity. The Busty XL band fits great but cups have so much extra space it doesn’t look right in shirts either and I’m wondering if I will be able to fill them. I’m hesitant to remove the tags to pack for the hospital.
So the question is how much bigger if at all did your boobs get after birth with breastfeeding?

When your milk first comes in you're going to be engorged and really full for a few days. It will take a week or two to settle if I remember correctly. I like the stretchy type at first. So far none of my stash of nursing bras from past babies are fitting comfortably. I'm just hoping that will change in the next few weeks. For a more structured bra I like Motherhood Maternity.
I’m 6 days PP and only one of my breasts is going through the hormonal changes and getting milk due to the other having gone through breast cancer treatment with radiation. seeing them side by side is crazy bc the breast that has milk coming in is probably twice as big as the other, if not more. Much bigger😭 had to rebuy everything. Mostly because of the band size ended up too tight for some reason but I prefer stretchy cups so there’s room for engorgement etc
I bought from Kindred Bravely and I sized a smidge up but not by much! I’m 38 weeks today and they are huge, I’m expecting they’ll get bigger. It may be another investment but it may help you in the long run to buy more.
My breasts were unimaginably bigger after my first but went down a little after so long. After my second they were way bigger also but not as much as the first time. We’ll see how this third time goes. Due any day
I've heard the SheFit bras are amazing and I'm definitely going to try it this time, especially once I'm back to exercising. It was designed by a mom to be super adjustable.
