Going home outfit!

Hey, I’m looking for a nice comfy baggy co ord set to go home in after labour and can’t seem to find anything other than shein (not sure I have time to order from there) has anyone found anything on other sites please? Also I have a nightie and one pj set to take with me, is this enough?

I bought a lovely one from Tesco, believe it or not. Really good quality and really comfy. That was a few months ago so was wintry, but they always seem to have sets like that in store that are as comfy as pjs but look more like loungewear. I’d take a couple more nighties, probably. It’s amazing how you need them and you might need to change e.g. water breaking on one, vomiting on another (personal experience) 😂

Oh, and if you’re planning on breastfeeding, have a nighty/shirt with buttons or two. I ended up being in for 4 days, and I’m glad I was over prepared with extra stuff.

I just bought a tracksuit from primark in a big size. Was so comfy.

I found a few on Amazon! That were suitable for breastfeeding (if you are doing that). They came with shorts and a long sleeve option. They look comfy but haven’t tried them out personally :)

I took 2 sets of pjs (top and bottoms) and a nightdress. Planned for a natural delivery, ended up having an emergency c section and stayed in for 5 days. But 3 sets of pjs was enough, I only wore 2 tbf, and was in a hospital gown for 2 of those nights too, was more practical with all the vomiting, bleeding down there, changing pads, catheter (🙈) and the midwives recommended a hospital gown until baby was born, especially with examinations.

I bought a nightdress from primark, their accessible range i think it's called, that has poppers on both shoulders so that I could breastfeed without lifting my whole dress up.

Depending on where you live, if you have any asian/muslim shops nearby that sell clothing, they have co-ord sets for maybe cheaper than online stores, you're looking at £10-20 a set and they have plentyyy to choose from. I bought a few co-ord bottoms for £6 and wore them a lot towards the end 🙂
