I’ve got SPD and finally have an appointment with the physio team next week. What should I expect? Is it worth it?

If it's a referral from your midwife, you will be given exercises to do. I decided to go private so there were some hands on treatment as well as exercises. No harm in giving it a go x

I was referred by my midwife. It was a phone call where they talked me through some exercises to do and told me how to get in and out of the bed and the car, and to sleep with a pillow between my knees. They also sent me out a bandage type of support to wear which was incredibly uncomfortable so I ended up buying a different support band. I was hoping for more than a phone call, but I don’t know exactly what I was hoping for! Xx

I self referred for PGP symptoms. Went today. She did like a little massage to try and relieve the muscle pain and also did some work on my hips.
I got given a tubey grip type thing or had the choice of a band.
I’m back again next week probably for another massage thing.
