Interested to know what peoples day to day is with a toddler ☺️
What things do they like playing with etc?
I think I’m mainly asking because I’m worried he’s watching too much tv and feel guilty.
We go out every day, play at home, he goes to nursery twice a week etc but still feeling like he watches too much so interested to compare to others I guess!

Lots of chores and housework! He mops and hoovers for fun now 😂

I feel exactly the same! We go to baby groups every morning then come home for nap time and I’m quite stuck on the afternoons, by the time we’ve had food post-nap it feels too late to go out and we end up stuck in playing with living room toys & watching tv 🙃

Makes me wonder why everything for kids is first thing in the morning! There’s literally nothing in the afternoon 🙃

Nursery Days: tv only 15min before breakfast, no tv at the evening just keeping him busy with everything like colouring, some active exercises he like to follow some command ld like ready steady go, bring me a sheep and rest animals, puzzles.
No nursery days: Same tv in the morning before breakfast, than he helping with all house stuff, cleaning, wiping the glass wardrobe door, moping, laundry, then some play with toys, I do ask him a lot to put his stuff and also some random stuff at the place it belong to, snack time, 30min play in the garden if weather allows that, cooking either together or he is colouring with me in the kitchen at that time, lunch, nap, i do prefer to go to the playground only after nap for 1h30min, dinner, chilling on sofa with tv for 30-1h he paying independently at that time and not always actually bothering about tv but still it’s on that what feels bad but I usually need a bit chill time at this point, bath, reading, bedtime.

On non-nursery days we get ready, watch 10 mins of something to do her hair, breakfast, head to a playgroup / play cafe / soft play, come home for lunch and nap. Post nap we go to the park / coffee shop / shops. Get home and play, colouring, crafts, watering the garden. Dinner, bath, stories, bed.
At the moment she’s not really into her toys at home, she prefers playing alongside others where she’ll then play with anything and would rather be outside. Enjoys colouring and crafts like painting and glueing tissue paper.
We use screen time for hair in the morning, drying hair on hair wash nights, cutting nails and she watches the Gruffalo’s child on iplayer as a treat each week as she’s obsessed with it!

Varies really this morning for example woke up she helped make pancakes for breakfast we cuddled and watched Rapunzel then we popped to the shops to pick up some parcels post nap we’ll go out for a walk on the bike then head home to play before dinner followed with some screen time before wind down and bath. Every day is different! kids are so so easily occupied and get such joy even out of the simplest of things like helping clean down the kitchen sides! I like to keep busy everyday but that isn’t always big adventures 😊

unsure where your located but try play cafes they usually have a few slots jotted throughout the day or usual soft play! Library sessions too
