Cannula again..
Guys! I wrote a post last week about my cannula going wrong for an iron infusion, the nurse burst my vein in my hand and eventually got it in my left arm.. fast forward to today, my second (and last, thank goodness) iron infusion, the nurse tries the same vein in my arm as last time and IT FAILS!!! It ended up in my other arm! Now I have 2 veins out of service and my c section in 2 weeks 😑 the poor anaesthetist will have just my left hand to get the cannula in at this rate! Let's pray they can get it to work 🙏 😩 #WhyMe?!

Hey I had almost the same problem as you! I was poked and prodded countless times I nearly fainted.. she would fully insert the needle completely missing the veins. I was directing her on what veins to try. And the iron infusion itself, that’s something else 😭🤢
@Jelena horrific isn't it! It's made me really scared to have a cannula for the c section now! Just so glad the iron is over and done with xx
