Chickenpox!
17 weeks pregnant and our 3yr old daughter has chickenpox. Do I need to be worried (and even more anxious than I am!)? Thank You x

My midwife told me as long as it’s past first trimester it’s ok. I wasn’t sure if I had chicken pox when younger so had an immunity test with GP just to check.
I’m currently in the exact same position - 17 weeks pregnant and 3 year old has chicken pox! GP is sending me for an urgent blood test tomorrow just to check my immunity levels. If immunity is there then we’re all good. If not, they can give you a vaccine to prevent problems occurring :)

My 3 year old is just getting over chicken pox and I’m pregnant also. If you’ve had chicken pox yourself your at less risk but honesrlt there’s nothing that can be done when it’s your own child xxx
