This teething period is a bit troublesome as far as staying sleep in the middle of the night and going back to sleep for my LO. Even during the day, I could leave him to play alone and then sudden he is fussy or irritated. Especially a lot more often! I’m also noticing a lack of appetite when I try to nurse him, and he just continues to cry in agony as if it’s a shock of pain running through his body. It’s a bit concerning. Not to mention he is drooling a ton, gnawing on everything and can’t find comfort to go back to sleep. I give him Tylenol(which he absolutely hates) Help! Is anyone else experiencing this same thing?

When my baby’s first teeth came in he was just like this. So fussy, waking through the night, and only wanted me, nobody else. 🙃 We just kind of embraced it for the time being. Once they poked through everything was back to normal ! We tried the chamomile tablets and drops which helped. Also sticks of celery!

My daughter is 6 months going thru spurts of the same thing. Pulling at the ears is very normal at this stage too (I thought it was an ear infection) sucking hurts when they eat. I try and make sure my girl is getting purées and water to help with lack of milk to get some nutrients in her. Have you tried any cold teethers? I got these things they look like big packs and have holes in them for fruits and veggies. I took a bag of frozen milk and broke off a chunk to put in the teether for her to chew and she loved it!

thank you, Lauren. My husband and I were a bit worried because he wouldn’t eat and just continue to cry. I got a little discouraged because he kept pulling away when I tried to feed him and I was like that’s not normal. Yet he fell asleep when I held him. Not to mention, everything shirt he wore was getting soaked in drool!

Camilla teething drops have been amazing. Definitely worth a try. I give them to her before she eats and now she's been eating and drinking her bottles. Before I couldn't get her too at all. She loves them too. She gets excited to drink them.

Thank you Mikayla for the advise. I actually do have a teething ring you can put in the refrigerator to freeze. He seems fine when gnawing on that. I also try to feed him purées/water as well. I seen on Instagram a little teething hack where you put the purée in the nipple and freeze it so that can chew on it for comfort. I have both in the freezer as we speak

we are going to go to Meijer’s or Walmart to see if they have any. If not I’ll try amazon! Thank you Brii!

@Darlisa I really hope it works for you! We got ours at winco, but I've seen it lost of places. I'm sure Walmart would have it.

Not sure if it’s teething but my lo went through the same thing over the weekend. She was only eating an oz. Was sleeping all day and burst out crying for like she’s in pain. Her cry sounded diff too. But she’s been doing a little better. I’ve also been giving Tylenol.

yeah the last two days and nights have been rough. I never heard him cry like this either. I hate feeling helpless but I can do was rock him to sleep. I also gave him some Tylenol. I hope it subsides
