Has anyone dealt with Hands Foot & Mouth?

Hi, sorry to hear that! My girl had this at about 10 months. It was actually passed through an adult so this could be passed by you. I was only with this other person for about 2 hours and she didn’t really touch my child that much so it can be easily spread unfortunately! It wasn’t to bad, it didn’t get passed to us. My girls hands was covered and I mean covered! They were very raised and very horrible to look at!
It’s gonna be very common your babies get the same thing at mostly the same time or a week later. It lasted about 8 days for us but the took a while for her to lose all her spots x

Yes my oldest got it when she was 2 she had bumps on her hands and feet and a few on her chin I was so scared I had not idea what it even was. The bumps take a while to go away but I just try to keep hands clean and washed and limit the touching.

Unfortunately we all had it a few months ago and baby caught it when he was 4 months old he had little blisters on his hands and toes and was fussy and had a temperature but he was over it in a couple of days no where are bad as the rest of us ! X

Did it get REALLY bad or was it pretty mild?
I’m washing hands 24/7 and disinfecting like crazy lol
Did you use any hydrocortisone or calamine lotion to ease the itchiness?
Did it spread to the inside of the mout?

Knowing it’s a short thing is definitely helping ease my anxiety over it!

Honestly baby got it over it really quickly compared to the rest of us ! It's awful as an adult. Hope you are all okay ❤️

No it never went inside just the outside around her chin. Some kids will get them on their lips and stuff but I just kept up with it. it’s definitely more scary when it first starts to pop up. It’s like a virus so even when they feel better the bumps are still there.
