Nappy rash
So I believe my 5 month old is teething, he is now suffering with nappy rash around his scrotum and on his penis. I’ve been applying sudocream, bathing it in cooled boiled water with cotton wool and letting it air multiple times a day. He doesn’t seem too bothered by it however I’m worried it isn’t clearing. Does anyone have any advice

I use sudosalve on my little girl, it seems to work really well! I don’t use it all the time either, just when I notice the rash and it usually goes down really fast. But I don’t know how it works on more intense nappy rash x
Shame they got rid of metanium it used to clear my little ones nappy rash in a day, but I find that the weleda nappy rash cream is sooo good my second had some redness due to diarhhea and it went so quick, even the little neck rash went in about a day or 2

We had the same and the sudocream really helped us as a barrier. Just keep lathering it on at every nappy change to stop the acidic wee irritating

Vaseline on top of the sudocrem could help? Means the cream can soak in properly and work rather than come off in the nappy or with urine
We use Bepanthen too, found it to be the best!
