Hi so I’m 17 weeks and I still haven’t felt any movements yet. Just wondering when you ladies started to feel movements or what ways you got to feel them? I know every pregnancy is different but I feel like all of us as mums get scared of so much as we can’t see or hear them everyday. Any advice or stories welcome. Thank you✨🤍🫶🏻

Felt my first kick at 21 weeks with my first baby and then nothing for maybe another week or 2 before they became regular. Second pregnancy have felt them since around 19ish weeks and now 25 weeks and super strong and regular! They say not to worry about movement until 24 weeks. My sister is 20 weeks and has barely felt anything yet either. It’s really normal don’t worry x

Hi! I'm 17 weeks too and felt nothing yet. I asked my midwife today who said normally it's between 20-22 weeks to feel the first movement, and she'd expect me to be feeling it regularly by 25 weeks. But also depends on your placenta - mine is at the front which means it may (or may not!) make it take longer to feel a kick. Hope this helps but obviously, everyone is different! Hope you're doing ok otherwise xx

17 weeks too 🙌 not so much as a whisper, counting down the days till the 20 weeks scan but my midwife said she’s certain that my placenta is in the back because while she was explaining that it can be difficult to find the heartbeat she switched it on and it was loud and clear straight away. She said that never happens so it must be that baby is right there at the forefront

I’m 17+6 with baby number 2 and just started feeling small movements I didn’t start feeling proper kicks with my 1st until about 20/21 weeks x
