My 2 year old just wants to play beep beep in the front of our cars and this is causing a bit of an issue in our household. It’s all she wants to do and if we say no it’s a tantrum. Started at the weekend and we are on day 4 of it- I had put her in the front seat whilst I got something out (not whilst we were moving obviously, we were parked up) and since then it’s been an obsession.
Will this pass? She’s never normally like this but her current behaviour and tantrumming is quite hard going atm.
Whenever we are at home it’s all she wants, if we are going out in the car that’s when she starts too.
Feel like I’m just drowning in it atm!

Tell her no if she has tantrum don’t react to it your the boss not her

Could you maybe have a set time of the day where you do the sitting in the car thing and it’s the only time she’s aloud to do it. So it’s not removing it but it’s building it in as something you do each day. At least then your not saying no it’s more yes we can do it again tomorrow when it’s beep beep time again.

We have a toy steering wheel that my LB uses with lots of sounds and beeps. Would that work?
