Baby hates car seat

My little boy is 15 weeks old and has always hated the car seat, he will literally scream as soon as you put him in there and can scream a while car journey. It’s so stressful driving as he can’t breath from screaming so much. Iv tried a different car seat, removing the inserts to give him more room but nothing works. Iv had an odd occasion where he is fine but 9 times out of 10 he will scream. I dread going out because of it. He’s fed, changed ect so I know he’s not hungry. I’ll add he is a Clingy baby attention best of times and doesn’t like to be put down. Does anyone have any advice or has a baby that hates the car to?

My baby HATES the car seat! Changed her seat also and she’s a little bit better in it as she’s a-bit more upright. That being said unless there’s someone sat next to her she doesn’t last long before she’s screaming

I know this doesn’t help now but both my children have been amazing in the car, and I think it’s because we’ve had to do long journeys to visit family from the very start. I never sat in the back with my first, and the only one who sits in the back with my second is her older sister. I honestly think the key is having them in the back by themselves really really early and going out in the car as much as possible xx

Mine has always hated the car too, she cries from the minute she's in the seat until we are out of the car. It's so stressful, especially when my 4 year old is in the car too. However, today she's been in the car 4 times and not a peep! All I did was put a toy on the bar of her seat and she stared at it and played with it the whole time!! I couldn't believe it! We'll see if it lasts. Its not a toy she plays with as it was my eldest when he was a baby so the novelty may wear off, it was the lamaze dragonfly. Worth a shot, it was a game changer! X

My daughter also hates the car. I’ve found that it helps if we travel right after a nap and constant distraction is toys/books.

I think sometimes it's just a temperament thing because we also did a long journey and travelled a lot in the car when she was very young and she slept super well the full time but just before 3 months she hit a big growth spurt and suddenly screamed bloody murder in the seat and couldn't stand it. She's gotten a lot better with the addition of toys and just her growing up I guess but when she's tired she still absolutely hates it and cries till she's picked up or it's been ages and she gets too tired and sleeps.

Iv never had anyone sit in the back with him besides my 2 year old and always done reasonable car journeys since he was a newborn so I don’t think it’s due to lack of being in the car. I hung a toy directly in front of him this morning for the nursery drop which helped a bit but I did manage to transfer him from his seat from a nap so that always helps as he’s not fully awake! I don’t think he likes being restricted as he just tries to lift his head up but can’t, iv just swapped his basssinet from his pram to the seat as he hated laying where he couldn’t see he would try and lift his head and roll over 🫣hoping he grows out of it!

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Every bath she goes in quite happy but will only stay like this for a very few mins, if I try to clean her or move her we have tears and after a few mins the same. It's like she is scared. Our current baby bath is quite big should I try a different one? Looking for any suggestions as want her to enjoy bath time not be upset and I'm scared I'm going to make her hate it😢💗

Crying during feeding

Hey mams! My girl is 6 weeks on Monday and is having so much trouble with feeding. It doesn’t happen every feed but more often than not she will start a bottle and just start crying as if she’s in pain and she can’t take the milk. I think it’s trapped wind but I genuinely don’t know what to do it’s so pitiful to see her not be able to feed! She’s formula fed and on HiPP Organic.
Anyone else been in this position? I’m pretty sure it’s just a bit of trapped wind that she needs to fart out but can’t! If anyone has any advice I’d be very grateful as I think I may need to tape my eyelids open soon 😂
