Jabs

Rang doctors to get my daughter booked in for her 8 weeks jabs. They said they would sent me a letter ( never have) she’s 8 weeks on Thursday and they said there next appointment for the nurse as shes v she’s on annual leave is 29th April. My daughter will be 10 weeks old by then. Is there any way I can complain or be sent to a different doctors for her to get her vaccines as I’m not happy about waiting 2 more weeks for her vaccines. If any one else has experienced this please let me know.

Experienced the same things and my daughter had her 8 week jabs when she was 10 weeks as that was the only time they had space to do them but never had a issue with it I just called a couple times just to see when and they just said they’ll send me a letter I got the letter 1/2 weeks after I called them about it

It doesn't have to be bang on 8 weeks, just can be anytime after that

My daughters now 10 weeks and only having her jabs tomorrow as they couldn’t fit her in around 8 weeks as long as it’s not before 8 weeks they will do it anywhere between 2 weeks to a month afterwards that’s what they said to me I was just as fuming

Thankyou girls just that the doctor told me it has to bethe week she turns 8,12&16 for her jabs and no later so just following doctors orders which clearly they can not follow themselves 😂

Trust me I was just as fuming and worried I went through same thing with my son too all his jabs were late even though I called in advance by two weeks to book them in but no availability he turned one in January but didn’t have his yearly jabs until middle of march x

Mine had his 8 weeks jab at 10 weeks as well. I called to book it and they said they'll send an appointment automatically.
