I honestly don’t know where it’s all coming from he’s 3 and a half and so aggressive and violent , I honestly don’t know how to help him no more I’ve tried everything anyone else in the same boat ? Would it be worth going to the GP if so what do they do ? Would Camhs be suggested? I don’t know if it’s ADHD or something else

My toddler is similar, she isn’t super violent but if things don’t go her way she will slam the table or throw her toys. We were told it is part of development x

I'd speak to your health visitor and they can help put support in place x

My son is similar, gets very angry, screams at the top of his voice if he gets told no or doesn’t get his own way, I got pulled aside at nursery today because he was asked to stop doing something and just continually screamed and shouted, upsetting the other children and then he hit one of the staff with his teddy, I am so upset to hear he’s now behaving like this at nursery as well as at home and I have no idea where to start with trying to help him with his feelings xx

It's very common at this age, as they don't know how to manage their emotions, and a lot going on developmentally wise. I've grown up around children so have seen it and it's all a stage. My daughter is the same, slams her feet, screams, cries, it's hard but it is a stage. They are just a ball of emotion that don't know how to cope with it x
