That is so helpful! Thank you so much Courtney. It’s all so scary. Hoping we never have to actually deal with it though. My best to you and your son!!!!
@Courtney that’s great contingency courtney, thanks for sharing. I’m a single mum of my boy who was born June 23 too and I get really panicky when this thought comes to my head
You’re both welcome. My sister and I are super close and just naturally speak everyday anyway but since we had children (she had her first 2 months ago) we both have an agreement to touch base everyday just in case. I’ve seen online a little silicone wristband with name, address, contact number and allergies that he can wear on days out if we ever get separated but I haven’t actually looked that far into that as he still is yet to learn how to run lol. It’s a horrible thought but for once, my anxiety is serving me well because it’s got me semi prepared haha xx
My sister and I have a daily check in and so if I don’t call/text/snap her at least ONCE in a day, she’s then gotta blow tf outta my phone. If I don’t answer, she’s got my key and knows to come straight over. As my son grows (June 2023 baby), I’m going to teach him his address and 999 and how he should call them if anything happens. I do have an SOS function on my phone and smartwatch to send an SOS message, as well as my location, to my mum, dad, sister and the emergency services…but obviously, that’s only really effective if it’s something I can see coming (like aura before fainting or me getting hurt doing something but can’t move much) xx
