It came out of my daughters nose as well as mouth causing her to stop breathing for a short period. The doctor said she has reflux but we weren't prescribed anything. We realized formula was doing this and switched to the gentle formula, it was better but still happening so we completely stopped with formula. She still suffers from reflux but not as bad. Things I did to help her: When bottle feeding stop every oz or when she is gasping/eating to fast and burp her, do not lay her down for at least 20 minutes, we found with mine it's actually closer to the hour mark, during and after feedings no sudden movements, after eating hold her vertically with no incline towards her head and NO pressure on her tummy for at least 30 minutes. I know holding them for that long isn't realistic for most but like I said my girl would stop breathing due to her reflux so I'd do anything to prevent it. I am thinking about using donors milk when I return to work. Maybe thats an option to look into. Good luck ik it's scary
My little boy was always sick after his bottles and they stated the same thing to me, ‘his alright because his gaining weight’ but it’s normal to keep being sick after each feed. It could be a sign of reflux or a problem with the digestive system. I would demand for your dr to do a referral to the paediatrician and get it looked into. My sons been put on a specific milk that was prescribed Pepti 1 Aptamil which is supposed to help but I still have the same problem so we’re now waiting for the paediatrician
