Congrats!! Baby will be in a diaper and a blanket the entire time you're there...you don't need more than an outfit to come home in. You can honestly leave the vests, cardigans, socks and Mittens at home because honestly you'll want Baby in a sleeper and that's it (socks just fall off and pants are annoying)
You also probably don't need a comb but that's just my experience...I've never brushed my baby's hair haha
I'd bring a few containers of ready made formula as well just in case.

thank you! my hospital provides formula if we need and I’m very keen on breast feeding so going to try my best!
My hospital recommends a few outfits incase we stay in longer than expected and the weather here is very hit and miss even though the wards can be cold or very warm! Every baby in my family has needed a few outfits even though plenty of skin to skin was given! Thank you 💓💓

My husband forgot his charger cable and his phone died half way through the Singapore GP. My charger was connected to my phone as I had been texting and calling everyone (parents and neighbours as we left at 2:30 am)

Gatorade because you need something other than water to help with recovery after labour. The RN said that more people should think about how out of balance your body is afterwards.

Also don't forget to pack for your support person, especially if they're anything like my husband, lol. His bag literally consisted of change of underwear and a shirt. No toothbrush, nothing to eat.... he ended up eating my larabars (didn't mind because I was too sick to eat anything during labour and the next 16hr post delivery)

Long charging cable. Serious life saver.
Take a few sleepsuits for baby but I wouldn't worry about outfits.
Or mittens. Vast majority of sleepsuits have fold over sleeves now. We were provided blankets. Just had one in the car.
I wouldn't worry too much about baby combs etc.
If you've been harvesting colostrum I would take some syringes. You're unlikely to be in long enough for your milk to come into the extent that you'll need bags tbh.
It can take like 2-3 days, mine took 5 days.
Breast pads though!

I am not going to lie, my water broke at 37weeks and my hospital bag was a night down, going home outfit for me and a towel (thought I had more time to pack things 😂). It was enough for me though the hospital had everything else. Don’t over think it.

Thanks but this is just babies bag!

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Bath Time

Help! My baby is 3 and a half weeks old. Every bath she goes in quite happy but will only stay like this for a very few mins, if I try to clean her or move her we have tears and after a few mins the same. It's like she is scared. Our current baby bath is quite big should I try a different one? Looking for any suggestions as want her to enjoy bath time not be upset and I'm scared I'm going to make her hate it😢💗

Crying during feeding

Hey mams! My girl is 6 weeks on Monday and is having so much trouble with feeding. It doesn’t happen every feed but more often than not she will start a bottle and just start crying as if she’s in pain and she can’t take the milk. I think it’s trapped wind but I genuinely don’t know what to do it’s so pitiful to see her not be able to feed! She’s formula fed and on HiPP Organic.
Anyone else been in this position? I’m pretty sure it’s just a bit of trapped wind that she needs to fart out but can’t! If anyone has any advice I’d be very grateful as I think I may need to tape my eyelids open soon 😂
