With of mine were colicy and had reflux goats milk was the best for them
My boy needed surgery after becoming very unwell due to pyloric stenosis. How old is your little one? I was being fobbed off and told I was over feeding…he was projectile (across the room) vomiting after every feed which was something that got progressively worse. It’s common to present around 6 weeks old. No Formula or anything will help as it’s a tightening of the exit to the stomach and will just get bigger as they grow x
Aptamil anti reflux changed my baby into a baby who cried less, had way less reflux and was finally able to do tummy time without screaming! Highly recommend as it worked for us but every baby is different!!
@Jodie he’s 8 weeks tomorrow, he’s not projectile after every feed but at least once a day! He was breastfed originally but was throwing up whilst still latched on me! Due to that and pain we have moved to formula, and he’s now on Gaviscon and Omeprazole whilst we await the ultrasound to see if it’s Pyloric Stenosis. Luckily he’s gaining weight albeit slowly, but it throwing up straight after each feed and is so uncomfortable and gassy in between. Hoping to help him settle as much as I can whilst we wait to see if there’s more going on for him 😔 Hope your little one was ok after the surgery? How long did it take from diagnosis to surgery? Xx
Thanks everyone, on doctors advise we are going to try Hipp organic next to see how he is with that! X
@Steph ah obviously I’m no doctor but luckily your little ones symptoms don’t seem to be pyloric stenosis! my son got gradually worse from 4 weeks (as pyloric is a benign tumour that grows till eventually nothing can leave the stomach so it’s gotta come back up) and lost weight rapidly! He was very unwell by the time someone in a&e finally listened to my pleas to check him for something serious. He was vomiting blood and they tried to say I was overfeeding him 😓😓 He ended up having to be tube fed for several days before he was fit enough for surgery 😥 he did very well afterwards and is a strapping 11year old boy now. ♥️
@Jodie omg that sounds horrible got you and your son! My little one is no where near that thankfully, but I’m glad they are at least investigating to see if there is anything physical going on causing his vomitting x
Can’t comment from personal experience but a lot of people talk about HIPP organic
