My EX MiL when asked if I had any grandparents coming to the wedding. And I said “unfortunately they have all passed away” and she said “best place for them”…..

I saw an Instagram reel last week of a couple at their baby gender reveal doing confetti cannons. They pop them and before the wife can even hug/kiss her husband to celebrate - you just see the MIL come bounding in like a linebacker, she JUMPS on her son, legs around his waist and gives him a kiss on the lips!

Mil brought my at the time 1yo home unbuckled I was seeing red. Thankfully things have changed since then but her mom so grandma caused more problems. I’m pregnant with our second and after our daughters birthday she messaged me saying I was selfish for not allowing her daughter to throw MY child her birthday party how she wanted it and that I’m a terrible person for not allowing MY baby to stay the night more often (no one else knew about her not buckling up my baby) and that she hopes I won’t be so selfish with this new baby. I was fuming I didn’t say a word back I screen shot it and sent it to my fiancé and he went full blown off on her cussing her out and all, we have not spoken to this psychopath since she did this stuff. We also told her we don’t want her around our children. She already had a bad relationship with my fiancé because she kicked him out and made him homeless but he tried being cordial for his mom and the family we were building together but she burnt that bridge

I hate when they lie about it. Mine lied about her maliciousness and harassment for 15 years, then finally admitted it to my husband and claimed that she'd never want anyone to treat her daughter how she has treated me, then went back to doing it and added making threats where I had to explain to her that the law would be in my favor. She made all sorts of bizarre accusations against me and created a storyline making herself the main character of my life when she wasn't even a thought beyond how could I be supportive towards her while she was obviously struggling.

My husband put his foot down and distanced himself from his parents well beyond what he ever wanted for himself, so from the day of our wedding unto this day, she tries to be friendly and loving like nothing ever happened like an entire insane person. It disgusts me to be in her presence and I revolt every time that she attempts to touch me.

Mine is just a walking disaster. I lost all respect for her when she moaned that my husband wasn’t going to see her on his birthday because he was going to be supporting me at my cousins funeral and she thought my uncle and aunt were out of order planning her funeral for that day.

Then, a few years ago she told my husband she didn’t think our eldest son was his the day we went to tell her I was pregnant with our youngest…

My MIL didn't come to our wedding because she 'couldn't find a dog sitter' later found out she was messaging a friend saying our wedding was going to be a shit show and that if she did go she won't be staying long.

We cut her off completely. She then found out I was pregnant with my daughter and told my husband that I wouldn't let her be a nan. My daughter is nearly 2 and has seen her 3 times.. and cancels a lot because she can't find a dog sitter, again. Her dog is vicious and has tried to attack mine so I won't let him in the house near my dog or daughter.
