Hi mama. Yes it’s totally normal for him to not walk yet. My first was ahead of all his milestones and still walked at 13 months. What helped him was the stand up walker ! Target or anywhere really has them
It’s normal my sister didn’t walk till 13 months by herself
A lot of kids don’t walk before one so don’t worry! Keep helping him walk by holding his hands and using a walker. My little girl’s birthday was yesterday and I found a really cute one on sale at target that she is loving! The one we had was too hard for her to push
Mine just started walking by himself right before he turned one. We just let him use a walker freely, inside and outside. Then we encouraged him to walk to us even if it was a couple steps at a time. He still falls a lot now and doesn’t walk more than the length of our living room but just let him keep practicing. It’s a great sign he’s trying with support. Mine just turned one 2 days ago! And he just started trying to stand up by himself too. They go at their own pace!
Thank you girls for your advices. It really helped me.
Mine isnt yet but shes been standing since 9 months! Itll be any day now! Im not focusing on it! She will do it when shes ready! I trust her
I believe average walking age is 12-18 months, no rush! My one year old is only standing 🙌
My one year old is barely standing! He’s a chunky little dude though so he is building up his leg muscles 😅
My baby isn't walking yet either... will be one next week. I wouldn't worry they're just learning to get their balance
Try to have him use one of those walkers to push and at first guide him and show him how to use his feet to take steps. (Left foot right foot and keep repeating it and showing him how) I did that for my son and it worked!
