Breastfeeding to formula

Recently I changed from exclusively breastfeeding to formula completely. It has now been 10 days. Since day 1 she had dhirrea even though she has had this formula since birth I have been given her one bottle at least a day. I have seen the health visitor and the gp on Thursday. The gp checked her over and said to monitor her and she's not concerned. She only has 1 poo per 24 hours and this is always a huge green smelly poo explosion. I am concerned because I don't think it's normal but the Gp said it is fine. Has anyone else experienced this for this long? What should I do and what could it be?

Green poo could be milk allergy

Both of them

It’s more likely to be due to her digestive system getting used to the iron content in the formula. It’s unlikely to be a milk allergy unless she was already reacting to your breast milk

Green poo is completely normal for babies on formula and watery is also fine. My LO only poops once a day and has been like that since she was born she’s now almost 5 months old and is thriving so I wouldnt be overly concerned plus it could take a while for babies tummy to get used to the complete change in milk x
