Baby bubble not as expected

Hi has anyone experienced anxiety in waves during the first few week or two after birth? Is this normal? Everyone says ohhh enjoy the baby bubble but I have found it hard as worrying about her, are we doing the right thing and just getting to know her to meet her needs.

I understand how you feel. I was constantly worrying the first couple of weeks I had baby home. Wasnt sure I was doing things right. up through the night when I didn't need to to check on her

Yeaa girl mine stayed a while. I would get night time scaries. I noticed I was grinding my teeth more and just feeling a sense of hopelessness. I went through PPD with my first. With the second PPD and PPA I’m finding that seeing a psychologist and being medicated has helped. It’s going to be so different and you both trying to get the swing of it all. Understanding her cues having it Change and trying to rediscover them again. After 3 months I found I could breathe a little more. But also I had to force myself to balance out my own needs with theirs. I would take short time to myself to go out and allow my partner to work out his way of parenting and bonding.

That is completely normal! Aside from having a baby you’re focused on protecting and keeping safe, your body is going through a huge hormonal adjustment to get your bony back to pre-baby levels. This will slowly start getting better! But be true to yourself and if you feel like it gets worse or better, talk to your doctor because it could be early signs of postpartum depression. But the first couple weeks are usually moreso baby blues when your body is just readjusting

Constant anxiety. Every one talks about depression, but it was the anxiety that got me. Wish I had know it was very normal
