Milk/ formula intake. My baby doesn’t seem keen to drop any bottles

How many ml-s is he drinking? I’ve reduced the amount my baby is getting and she is fine without it during the day however she needs it before bed and during the night..
We’re one two 10oz bottles a day now, one in the morning and one before bed. When I began weaning off the mid day bottle I swapped it out for a portion of yoghurt to help them forget about it/. It be upset. Then once they forgot about the bottle stopped the yoghurt so they were hungry enough for their dinner.
Thanks all, maybe I’ll swap one day bottle for a dairy free yogurt. He’s not having huge bottles just likes them regularly, and I’m not sure it’s that’s ok or a habit we should be breaking. I’d say he finishes 5oz per bottle x
My girls the same. Only since starting the childminder has she dropped her bottles, but I know she’s been offered them! My health visitor said it’s not really a problem as long as they’re putting on weight! X
We were on 5 Bottles, 3 meals and 2 snacks until 2 weeks ago. We've managed to cut out the 4.30pm bottle he was having and give him water instead. We used to top him up when we went to bed to see him through but went cold turkey with that too. He's now on three bottles - morning, nap time and bed time
Would he have it in a sippy cup if it's only small qtys?
Hey lovely, my little girl has 3 bottles a day. Morning before breakfast, around 1/2 o’clock and then before bed. My health visitor told me when we had our 12 month check to drop the bottle but I really don’t think she is ready as she can be so upset and the only thing that settles her is her bottle. I’m going with the mindset of she dropped her other bottles she will drop this one when she is ready. I have recently (last 2/3 days tried to see how she is without one, 2 days she was fine without and today she needed it xx
