Period after miscarage

Hi everyone I’m on day 17 of my miscarriage journey bleeding had slowed down completely to almost a stop and blood had turned darker in colour making me think it might finally be resolving but today I’ve just started bleeding heavily with horrific period pains and fresh red blood, with clots, I’m in so much pain. Is this normal? Did anyone else experience a painful first period after? X

Have you had a negative test? As If not it won’t be a period yet it could be retained tissue xx

No they told me wait 4 weeks. I just couldn’t believe the amount of bleeding and the pain. I didn’t even have that when the miscarriage happened and how it went from nearly completely stopping to having to change my pad every 30 mins. Also are you allowed to wear tampons?

No technically during the miscarriage they discourage tampons. If the bleeding is soaking through a heavy pad twice in less than hour then I've been told to get help. Especially if it lasts over 2 hours

That’s what I was like. And I had retained tissue at 8 weeks, can you get a scan?

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Hi guys so I’m 25 weeks today and I haven’t felt the baby kick at all yet at the scans she’s moving constantly that it’s hard to get the right measurements my first pregnancy was cryptic so I just want suggestions from one worried mother

Rolling milestone at 5 months - What’s typical ?

Good morning ladies,

My daughter will be 5 months old tomorrow, but there’s still no sign of her rolling. She does tummy time and loves lying on her mat, playing with hanging toys above her and to the sides, but she only lifts her legs and doesn’t seem interested in rolling or moving sideways yet.

Anyone else the same or have your babies already learnt how to roll yet ?
