5 months postpartum

Postpartum is so intense and wild. Unpredictable and challenging. How do you get through this and stay whole?

For me working out is super important so finding ways to incorporate that really helped me. When I was able to take my son outside for walks in the park, I felt loads better as well. Those things helped me recover. Every month was better. And by 9 months I felt almost normal again. At 9 months, we joined a gym with childcare and that was a game changer for me. I had a lot of panic attacks in the beginning and that was the worst part for me. I’m pregnant again so hoping to be better prepared for that. But I definitely recommend therapy/psychiatry if you need help. It’s hard.
