How long after army crawling did your little ones begin to crawl properly or did they just stick to army crawling? x
Edited to add another question, when babies were learning to crawl were you letting them be frustrated and shouty when they were trying to get a toy they can’t reach or were you passing it back to them? x

@Nadia did he get faster with the army crawling over time, my little boy only started doing it this morning so is obviously quite slow and struggles a bit x
In a few weeks
My little one started army crawling at 5 months but only properly crawled at 9 months. I guess since they can already move around takes a bit longer?
@Millie even though it wasn't that long ago I feel like I can't remember already lol. I do think he was quite slow initially, the same with crawling properly. At first he was slow and wobbly a bit and now he's like lightning fast I blink and he's gone x
Two weeks after!
@Cristina had they already been rocking on all 4s before army crawling or did that come later? x
He started army crawling at 5.5 months and didn't crawl properly until 7.5 months xx
I think about a month or two after army crawling consistently and figured out how to crawl 🥰
About 3 weeks. Literally just got up on all 4s one day and crawled. In the same day he learnt to sit up on his own from laying down and pulled himself up and started cruising on furniture 🤣
@Lauren and i thought my little boy flew through milestones jesus i bet that was an eventful day 🤣
@Lauren exactly the same for us and now he's walking 🥺🥺🥺🥺
Army crawled starting at 4 months then actually crawled at 6 months. I prefer the army crawl cause it takes her a few minutes to get to places but now I have to run her down to catch her cause she’s gotten fast w it
Mine army crawled for like 5 months? Maybe .. then onto all fours then started to pull up etc. although pulling up might have started during the army crawl actually. But yea aaagggess. Would let him work towards the toy but pass it or put it at a reach where they could get it
My nephew army crawled and never did the other type of crawl, just when onto walking when ready xx
