Run a baby wipe under his nappy waistline to encourage him to pee and wait about a minute for him to do that! Works a charm and I never get peed on anymore!

@Raene does that work for little older babies too? Mines 13 months old and I still sometimes gets that surprise. 😅🤭

Or open then immediately close the diaper and wait for the pee. Make sure when changing, his penis is pointed down or it'll get out of the diaper. Don't pull back the foreskin forcefully! Clean what you can see and you can gently move it to do that, but don't force it back, it can cause damage and ever get stuck and need surgery.

I put a blanket on his changing mat at night time so the cold doesn’t wake him or make him uncomfortable, I also haven’t been peed on since he was a month old when I started doing this x

Honestly I don’t think anyone can be prepared. Your baby will always do something that no one you knows baby has done and it will completly catch you off guard. I thought I’d read everything and got every peice of advice I possibly could before I had my little boy. He’s almost 20 month and still does something to Suprise me almost every day. The only peice of advice I can give is to laugh at life because if you take everything Seriosly you’ll be a nervous wreck xx

My little boy is 18 months and he is the most cuddly kissy little boy with me! No one else is allowed to touch me, he moves their hand off of me (I don't know if it's because I'm heavily pregnant so the hormones) but it's the best feeling ever!

This isn’t just for boys but sleep regressions. You’ve got about another 2 months before the first one. Your baby will go from waking 2-3 times a night to 4-6 times a night. Having a routine in place before this happens can help tremendously. When it comes time. They will have multiple of them at different ages!

(Sorry if long) I use cotton balls soaked in warm water to clean my baby boys privates and around the folds of his legs as my little boy is suddenly sensitive to the wipes, I found this immediately got rid of any irritation/redness I only use baby wipes to clean his back side and clean up the bulk of the poo n then run a cotton square pad soaked in warm water to clean backside to finish and dry him off with another square cotton pad (swisspers) all over very gently dabbing in folds and his privates ensuring it’s fully dry I use Natralus Nappy Barrier cream (paw paw calendula one ) literally just a dot under folds of his privates with a dusting of non talc baby powder over it covering head of his doodle making sure no powder collects there then powdering (non talc) in folds back n front to ensure he stays dry I dust a small amount of non talc baby powder in his nappy as well to ensure dryness if he sleeps longer throughout the night time 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼apologies if post is too long🩵🩵🩵🩵
