Hospital bag

Has anyone packed their hospital bags already? I’m doubting myself on what to pack because of the weather. My LB was born in the winter so we went with long sleeved vests, cardigans and thick blankets. Are you packing long sleeved vests, cardigans etc just in case? Or just short sleeved vests? I’m also struggling to find any summer newborn blankets. Probably over thinking it all but don’t want to not have everything for baby 😂

I have packed mine not packed babies’s 😂

I’ve not packed yet, I’ve had a summer and a winter baby and packed the same for both 😂 I can’t stand love sleeved vests and trying to make sure they don’t roll up 🤣 so we’ll just take short sleeved bodysuits! And then sleep suits as normal, I’ve got jacket/cardigans too just in case, and will have a thicker blanket in the car should we need it but we’ll be taking a cellular blanket and then a fleece blanket too but mainly just because we have a pink and a blue one for pictures, not necessarily to wrap baby in 🥰

Short sleeve vests and baby grows they do need to be a little warmer when they are fresh out so if it’s too warm we just won’t put the vest on under the babygrows 🙂 and we have a muslin and a knitted blanket for variation 😆

I’m 33 weeks tomorrow and have mine packed, I just didn’t feel organised otherwise! I’ve packed short sleeve vests and sleepsuits and 1 cardigan. I’m also taking a cellular blanket as it’s thinner and then a slightly thicker one too xx

We had a June baby in 2021 and we packs a couple short sleeve vests, 2 sleepsuits mits and a hat and a cellular blanket at you wont know if the weather will be warm, hot, cold, raining sunny or what time of day you will be allowed home for baby and it's easier to take a layer off than put a layer on plus we all know for 2nd or 3rd time mummy's that babies can't regulate their temps so anything outside of us is chilly initially x

I've packed short sleeve vests and normal sleepsuits, and a cardi. My 1st was born in August and she just stayed in her nappy & a towel until we left 😅
