Anal fissure after birth so painful can anyone share an experience if they have healed ?
What were the symptoms
Where you prescribed anything?
And how long to heal?

Ask your GP for rectogesic ointment. They typically take 6-8 weeks to heal but that ointment definitely helps. Take laxatives every day and take Luke warm water sitz baths. If that doesn't help ask the GP for dilitazum cream. The NHS doesn't like to prescribe it as it's expensive but I've been offered it twice with my fissures. Unfortunately for me I've had them for nearly 3 years and I've been referred to the surgical team now. Hopefully that won't happen to you xxx

I got some cream from the GP and that cleared it super quickly! It might be embarrassing but definitely go to the GP as I think it will heal super slowly without the cream. Good luck!
