I have just given my baby his first bottle of anti reflux formula (switching gradually from a normal formula) he struggled with it and he just couldn't seem to get it out the bottle, do you need special teats or something? New to this so would appreciate any guidance! I also mixed it well and its still really clumpy and was getting stuck in the teat.
I think the main way anti reflux formula differs is that it’s thicker than normal formula so you may benefit from trying the next teat size up. Not sure about it being clumpy but I guess with it being thicker, it could affect that too!
It has thickener in it so you need to really vigorously shake it and also potentially move up a teat size.
Also, keep an eye out for reactions, as alot of babies react to an ingredient in the thickener xx
