Lip Tie

Can anyone who’s had experience with their little one having a lip tie tell me if this looks normal or not? When he was little it was hard to tell and now he is almost 5 months want to make sure all is okay, excuse the photo he is very wriggly 😂

I have no advice as I think my 7 month old also had a lip tie, however when we had his tongue tie released we were told in the UK they don't bother about them as it doesn't cause the same issues 🤷🏻‍♀️

my son has one that’s quite tight, he’s now 12m and there doesn’t seem to be any complications! only thing i can imagine at this point, if anything, would be a slight impact on the sounding of his speech as he grows but i can’t see it being problematic. i’ve heard the same as amy has said above, too! x
