Yes I was induced there. The staff were lovely and so kind. Labour was straightforward and my daughter was delivered 10 hours later.
I was induced at RPH and had the gel induction! The staff were absolutely amazing, very informative, very caring and helpful! If you have any concerns, don't be afraid to ask. They put me at ease through the whole process! There were slight delays as they were doing 7 inductions a day when I was in, which was the beginning of March, so I'm not sure if it's the same now. The delivery suite was also amazing! I can't fault any of the staff, they where super supportive. I had an amazing natural birth, and I couldn't have done it without the RPH team both in induction and delivery!
I was induced 2nd March for medical reasons, went in at 8.30pm got a bed, baby was monitored for half an hour, obs taken etc. due to being busy on the wards my foley balloon induction only started 3rd March before dinner. It was taken out midnight and on the 4th I was taken up to delivery suite to break my waters and start me off on hormone drip & have my epidural. I had my girl 5th ( VBAC BIRTH) . And was discharged 7th, only because I lost 1200ml blood. During the whole time my partner was allowed to stay in Maternity A while being induced and Maternity B once I had baby. Staff lovely and we was taken well cared of. Good luck hope all goes well for you. I would say please definitely be prepared to be in there a few days. Inductions can take a while due to emergencies and being busy. Xx
@Naomi I went in 2nd March for my induction. Was super busy and took a few days from start to finish x
@Lisa Marie I went in on the 6th, wasn't induced till the 7th, went into labour that evening, and my little girl was born early hours on the 8th. I agree, can take afew days. I took my switch and colouring to keep myself occupied x
I was induced in 2022 and had a lovely experience! Staff were kind, helpful and supportive. Was induced on the 21st morning and he arrived on the 22nd evening xx
Hey I had a lovely experience with being induced, the midwives where fantastic. I went in on the 15th and he was born on the 16th back in 2022 I ended up having an emergency c section and they was fantastic. Good luck x
