Has anyone gone into labor after pedicure?

I've heard that the massages could induce labor. Have any of you experienced this? I'm 38 weeks today and getting a pedicure as I type this! My first was born at 38&4, and my second was born at 38&5. I'm hoping this is the week :)

i haven’t personally, but i have seen lots of tiktok’s about it! and my sister in law has been getting monthly pedicures but she doesn’t allow them to do the massage (bc it’s too early for her to go into labor), but when she is close to her due date she will get the massage! keep us updated!

@noel so true! I hope it works.. i want to go into labor tomorrow because my husband has some days off of work🥲in the next following days. But I'll only be 38&2, so we shall see.

I didn’t know this was a thing, but I’ve actually seen it happen! I was getting a manicure with my sister one day and a pregnant lady was getting a pedicure across from us. Her water broke in the pedicure chair! She started crying and kept saying “I’m not ready!” Her husband packed up their car while she finished her pedicure, picked her up and they went right to the hospital. So I guess if you’re going to try this, be prepared!

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

I am so done with pregnancy !

Everything i do hurt . I sit down / i stand up / i walk / i lie down. I am in pain ! I am tired ! His mouvement hurt down there like electricity chock ! My back is on fire ! If i walk more then 5 minutes i feel like i am going to die ( low ferritine) the acid reflux is crazy . I mean i can’t and don’t wanna do this no more . Only 31 weeks !

Almost 37 weeks + told to do another growth scan

I just had my second to last doctor’s appointment this morning, and my OB told me she wants me to do another growth scan because my belly is measuring small. She says it’s probably just because I’m a smaller woman, but they like to be safe. It’s hard to hear though, since I just did one a couple months ago.

I did this with my firstborn around this time of pregnancy, so I do think I just carry smaller (even though I don’t feel like I look “small” at all). My first baby was 6lbs 15oz when she was born at 41 weeks + 2 days. I’m having this baby at 39 weeks on April 7. I hope she’s still at least 6lbs.

Anyone have any stories similar to this?
