who said that?😅

They're definitely uncomfortable sometimes but shouldn't be painful x

Shouldn't be painful. I get pressure below like I need to pee but no pain! If you're in pain with just BH, talk to your OB!!!

Braxton Hicks can definitely be painful. Everyone has different thresholds of pain tolerance. BH has always been incredibly painful for me, and I’ve consulted my OBGYN about it plenty of times. BH can be uncomfortably tight; That sensation can be painful and make it difficult for some to breathe through it. I would definitely mention this to your OB. You can in fact have painful Braxton Hicks, and not be experiencing labor contractions.

Yesss!!! It’s different for everyone… it was definitely painful for me! I wasn’t expecting it either

@Liz dang was it so painful that one of them made you go to the hospital thinking you’re gonna go in labor

Mine are very painful. I’m 37 going on 38 weeks on Wednesday and still working a very physical job and not only does everything hurt, but when they start, they take me out!

@Kayla yup you’re only escape is to manage the pain when you’re in the shower. My husband keeps telling me do you think it’s time I tell him I don’t know not until that water breaks I guess

@Mariah lol my husband says the same thing! I lost my mucus plug this morning and I know it’s kinda hit or miss because it can regenerate but I am hoping that this is the last week so I can have my baby already!

@Mariah yesss!!! They were the reason why I came to the hospital. Only to be told that I have effaced but not dilated. Was going to be sent home, but got held long enough to enter active labor and baby’s heartbeat started to take a turn. Had I stayed home, I may have been able to skip c section and done exercises to get baby head down

They’re painful for me too. They feel like period cramps.

@Selena exactly

Mine was painful as well!
