@Alana He will have just turned 1! How long was your flight? X
These are some things I bring! Keeps my LO busy and she’s been on 8 trips. 14 months old now. She sleeps in my arms. The noise and motion with some milk on take off knocks her out. Hope this helps!! https://amzn.to/4jNenEN https://amzn.to/3RCtAvS https://amzn.to/4jwr2f2 https://amzn.to/44HXgPI
@Dollie just under 4 hours.
Stickers!!! 😭
we are about to go turkey my little one is 1 i’ve packed suction spinners and a busy book and some little toy cars (he hasn’t seen any of them so they will be exciting to him) and i’ve put away hos favourite stacking toy and 3 “that’s not my” books which he loves 2weeks prior so that when i get them out on the plane they will be more exciting to him again! also LOTS of snacks, hope this helps 🥰
@Alana sorry to jump on this, what seats are bulk head? I’ve tried to book extra leg room with my infant but they aren’t infant friendly seats apparently. We are flying to furteventura with jet 2
@Laura just the row before a wall or divider on a plane. Interesting that the extra leg room isn’t infant friendly. What does that mean? They just sit on your lap.
@Alana yep, it’s very frustrating! As the extra legroom would be great! All other seats are infant friendly. But yes, LO sits on knee. Which isn’t ideal when you have an active 20 month old😂
My little one is super entertained by my water bottle and pump parts 😆
If they're mobile. Get to airport early and let them burn off as much energy as possible before the plane
Do they have to sit on your lap for the whole flight or just take off and landing ?
How old? We just flew with my 8m old. We brought a suction fidget spinner, a contrast book with a mirror, and some teethers. The flight attendants gave us pretzels in a bag (crinkly sounds) for him to play with and cups to bang together. We opted for bulk head, so he could sit on the floor and crawl around a bit. At one point he sat in my chair and I was in front of him on my knees. The flight attendants held him for a bit on the way back and we were able to stand and bounce him where the jump seats were. As for sleep, he nursed to sleep on the way there. Otherwise we held him and he had a pacifier and fell asleep in our arms. Overall he didn’t do poorly! I was frustrated in the moment at times but reflecting, it could’ve been a lot worse.
